Let's talk about the server activity

I have to say, I am fucking bored to play with a bot against 2 bots ;s.
I have some little things, maybe it could help. Just tell me what you think

- Raise the amount of bots from 4 to 12
I'm not really sure if it will help, but if someone is looking at the server list we will have at least 12 players. The bots will disconnect when someone joins.

- Change our server name
This might sound stupid, but imo it could be working. We got our server name now like this:
|FBI|No-Download
But if we change it to this:
|FBI|No-Download
When someone press in the server list at "Servers" we will be the first because we got so many spaces before our name. This is also working at EA and DC, and look at their servers..

Just some things, plz post here if it would be handy or not

wha t raa means is that you change at ycn something at your server name,
what fbi got currently is just this:

servername "|FBI|No-Download"(i didnt add colours srry)

what raa means to change to is:
servername " |FBI|No-Download"

this is in the server.cfg where all other important information/settings are written to keep the server running.

i think jaymod is more populair than ND if you ask me it personaly.


i think smeerlap/newbe/dweeb/andy/teets/dude/slop know what i mean to say wit h my replay
(for the guys who know about server managing just add some spaces so you come higher at the name list)

The name now is FBI|JAYMOD, i like the idea to put spaces before the name so it becomes at the top of the serverlist, i knew a clan who jsut started and did that, 2 week later the clan was quinda famous and was almost always full.

Thanks T!ger but Jaymod can be No Download, just as any other mod.
We can do that but that doesnt mean lazy-ass members will play it.

All of our three servers a pretty good community, also Etpub now. As long as there are 4/5 people playing, more will join pretty quickly. But ye, at the moment we even have trouble managing to get 5 out of 150 people on 1 server so actually I dont see the point of keeping Jaymod.

Maybe something first has to be taken away before people realise they might miss it if it's not there.

Before you delete one of them, please put them at the top of the serverlist lets see if that works, because FBI is almost all the way down

well if you ask me its cause of the maps think we just need like 10 map rotation, with some stockmaps (oasis,Goldrush and some with small mapsize and small volume (mb) like caen, supply)

Atm we got the basic maps + Purefrag and Supplydepot.
We played 3o3 or 4o4 and Railgun and Radar got nextvoted very fast..
